Dr. Zachary Pharr joins Mid-Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic

by

The Mid-Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic is welcoming Dr. Zachary Pharr to the practice.

With a record of supporting a championship college football team, Pharr’s primary focus at the clinic will be sports medicine, including minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee, as well general orthopedics and Tommy John surgery.

Founded in 1975 in Columbia, the clinic provides a complete range of orthopedic services, including the treatment of fractures, total joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, spinal surgery and sports medicine.

Dr. Pharr received his degree in Biology from Lipscomb University in 2010. In 2015, he received his medical degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis.

He completed his fellowship at the celebrated American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala., with the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center, assisting with the team orthopaedic coverage for the University of Alabama’s 2020-2021 national champion football team.

Throughout his training in residency and fellowship, he has treated athletes at all levels from youth to professional sports, including the University of Memphis and University of Alabama athletics, Memphis Redbirds and Birmingham Barons baseball, and the Memphis Grizzlies.

In his spare time, Pharr enjoys spending time with his family, being involved locally, exercising, and playing golf.
